This is a work by Koichi Furuya, a ceramic artist with a studio in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture. This is the smallest size of the popular apple bowl from Furuya Pottery. Because they are handmade, there may be slight irregularities, distortions, small holes, and unevenness. Some pieces may have unclear backstamps due to the production process. Also, as natural materials are used, there may be small iron spots (black spots) from the clay, as well as glaze runs, pooling, and pinholes.
