This is a repair waterslide decal that can be used for guitar and bass repairs. Please check the image for size. This is an aftermarket product and not an original Fender part, but I believe the size, color, and other aspects are well-made. This is a waterslide decal for the Fender Stratocaster from late 1968 to early 1971 CBS logo, 1st version, commonly known as the Tiger Logo or Transition Logo, with "WITH SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLO" and two patent numbers at the bottom. Contour Body decal included. It is cut around the logo, so please soak it in warm water, float it, and then apply it. If necessary, please cut it further around the logo before applying. If you want a version with only one patent number, you can cut and paste, or remove "WITH SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLO" to customize it. ■ Application Method Cut off any excess border as needed. Dip it in water and slide the decal surface to place it on the desired area. Then, blot away the water with a tissue or similar material to set it. After it has dried completely, applying clear coat or polishing with compound will result in a good finish. I applied this decal to a guitar and sprayed clear coat over it, and it did not shrink and was applied without any problems. It can be handled like a general waterslide decal, but I cannot provide support or answer questions regarding the application process.
