Thank you for viewing. This item is a full-range speaker from JBL. I intended to use it with a Fender amp (Deluxe Reverb), but I've changed the direction of my sound, so I'm putting it up for sale. I previously obtained a reconed one in good condition. I installed it in a Musicman 112RD 50 once, but removed it immediately. It has superb sound. The clean tones are especially wonderful. You can see why jazz musicians put them in Fender amps. Also, the sound gets louder. It transforms into a monster amp. In the past, Fender offered the D120F, an orange-framed alnico magnet speaker, as an option around the 70s. I also owned one. This is a successor to that model. Although the magnet is now ferrite, the superb clean tones remain. Stevie Ray Vaughan was also famous for using a similar series for a time. In terms of sound quality, this one has a wider frequency range, both high and low, than the alnico magnet D120F. Also, it has a higher power handling capacity, so there's plenty of headroom. Personally, I preferred this ferrite version. The D120F is very popular, but this one is superior in terms of performance. There are comparison videos on YouTube, so please search for them. It has been reconed by a professional shop and is quite clean. The sound has no deterioration, and you can use it heavily from now on. You won't find this item in this condition very often. There are some scratches on the frame. The terminals are the early-model metal type. They work without any problems. The later models have flimsy plastic ones. If you are considering a D120F, K120, etc., how about this? You'll be happier than buying a poorly-conditioned alnico at a high price. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band, and others used JBLs back then. You can get superb rock sound. Please understand that this is a used item before purchasing.
