It's a bag string (woven in a bag) style, thicker and more durable than flat strings (plain weave). Unlike cheaper versions, everything from dyeing the thread to weaving is done by skilled craftsmen, and it's known for its vibrant colors and soft texture. It's 5 meters long, making it suitable for tea ceremony utensils, box ties, warachi sandals, dog accessories, and other handmade materials. Sanada string is also the perfect thickness for passing through obi clasps, and more and more people are choosing it for obi cords.
