I am selling three used fukuro obi (formal obi) that I purchased for coordinating mama furisode (a young woman's formal kimono) for coming-of-age ceremonies. I bought six obi, but these three did not match the image. I am a着付師 (kitsuke instructor, someone who dresses people in kimono) and a beautician, and I have been asked by regular customers to coordinate their mama furisode in a fresh way for their coming-of-age ceremonies. It's fun, but it's also a big responsibility. These are 4-meter obi, perfect for elegant decorative knots and fukurusuzume (a type of obi knot resembling a puffed-up sparrow).
