It powers on, but does not read discs. I have confirmed that the discs themselves are not the problem using another game console (Wii), so it seems the issue is with the console itself. The analog stick on the controller has discoloration and deterioration due to dirt, and there are indentations on the cord in two places from being tightly wound. Please see the photos. Also, the analog stick is constantly inputting upwards, and the up and down directions on the C-stick are quite unresponsive (sometimes they work when pressed hard).
