This is the body of a small drum (kotsuzumi). Diameter: 10.1cm, Height: 25cm, Weight: 399g It appears to have been well-used, with many scratches on the edge of the body. Images 5 and 6 show peeling and cracks in the maki-e lacquer work. There are no cracks in the body itself. The receiving area and the nest (of the drum) have carefully carved details. The sound is also good.
