I bought this about 12 years ago, and haven't used it for about 8 years. When I put it away, it was placed under other things, so the box is dented and has some scratches. All of the game pieces are present. The blank stickers that came with the pieces are missing. All the pieces have been cleaned with alcohol wipes. I don't smoke, so I don't think there are any smells like cigarette smoke.
