We celebrate important, once-in-a-lifetime milestones such as Hatsumiyamairi (first shrine visit), Okuizome (first meal ceremony), 100th-day celebration, and Hatsuzekku (first seasonal festival). Used only once for my daughter's Shichi-Go-San (Seven-Five-Three Festival) as she had very little hair.
