This is a treasure box of Takaoka lacquerware. Please see the 10th image. This is not a scratch, but appears to be unevenness in the coating. The mother-of-pearl inlay is very fine and the colors change depending on the viewing angle, making it beautiful. I don't think you often see such fine detail in Takaoka lacquerware. In the last image, there are stains on the box. It is unused, but has been stored at home.
