The combination of a 24.2-megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor and the DIGIC 6 image processor achieves high image quality while enabling high-speed continuous shooting at approximately 5 frames per second. It is equipped with the same all-cross 19-point AF sensor as the higher-end model "EOS 70D." The AF points are the same as the previous model "EOS Kiss X7i."
