This is an amethyst necklace that belonged to my grandmother. The material is not platinum. It doesn't seem to be silver either. The amethyst itself has a clear and lovely color, like candy. I have pets. I will be careful when packaging, but there is a possibility of pet hair getting mixed in. If you are concerned, please refrain from purchasing.
