Each crane is carefully painted by hand by a craftsman known as a "Makie-shi" (lacquer artist). This is a masterpiece from the Showa era. These are unused items that have been stored for a long time in a dark warehouse. However, due to their age (several decades old), the white wood has become stained over time. Also, some scratches can be seen. Please take a look at the photos and consider purchasing. This product is an unfinished item, without the tatami-omote (straw matting) to be attached to the top and the thong.
