Instead of just pulling both laces up vaguely, I feel like tightening only certain parts by pulling the front and back of the lace handles. I pull only the back side of the outer lace, not tightening the toes, just tightening the instep. For the inner lace, I pull only the front side of the lace, not tightening the shins, but tightening only the lower part near the ankles, so I could lean my feet flexibly when turning. After use, I always remove the insoles and wash them with a neutral detergent. I dry the inner boots in the shape shown in image 6, angled sideways so that sunlight reaches the toes.
