Thank you for viewing. ・This is a handmade wooden carving of a "Japanese Kingfisher" (Yamaseimi). The size is about 40% of the actual bird, but it has been reproduced as realistically as possible. The bird's body is carved from Jelutong and Basswood, and the legs are made of copper wire soldered together. The paint is finished with water-based acrylics. The size of the bird is about 11.2cm from beak to tail, about 4.0cm wide, and the overall height including the base is about 23.5cm. ・The bird and perch will be shipped separately.
