This yukata was handmade in 1998 during a Japanese sewing class. The fabric was purchased from a kimono shop. It is likely 100% cotton. It was made to fit a person who is 152cm tall with an average build. It is thicker than commercially made yukata. There are several spots where parts of the red peony pattern are dyed navy blue. Since it was hand-sewn by an amateur, the stitches are not even. Please understand. I tried it on when it was finished, wore it once, washed it, and then stored it in a chest for a long time. There is a smell from the chest (not a strong smell like naphthalene) and wrinkles. Because the size is tight, it will be packed directly into a Yu-Packet Plus box.
