The main difference compared to Canadian timothy hay is its longer stalks. Longer timothy hay is preferred because it encourages better eating, and is recommended for those who find that shorter hay falls through the cage. We ship the hay in a plastic bag. Please understand that the 1kg of timothy hay will be shipped in a similar manner to the product photo, as it will not fit in a zip-lock bag. Approximately 10% of the hay may contain brown, dried grass, which is a natural occurrence during import. As it is hay, it will inevitably dry out over time. While we separate the brown, dried grass during the order processing, it is impossible to remove all of it. Therefore, we add a little extra hay to your order. Thank you for your understanding.
