A heartwarming human drama based on Akio Morisawa's novel of the same name, adapted into a live-action film. Gomama, whose real name is Tetsuo Gonda, spends his days working out at the gym and runs "Snack Hibari" at night, which is frequented by his gym buddies. The unique individuals who gather at the snack each have their own worries and sorrows. Gomama and the bartender, Kaori, offer cocktails tailored to their troubles, whispering "cocktail words" to comfort them. One night, dentist Ryoichi Shikami comes to the snack. Ryoichi, known for his rapid-fire conversations, is actually carrying a great sorrow, and his relationship with his wife has also cooled. Gomama serves Ryoichi a certain cocktail as he begins to share his troubles. Gonan Goto, from the Netflix drama "The Naked Director," stars as Gomama, with Motoki Fukami and Kumiko Endo playing Ryoichi and his wife, and Meme Tamura, a rising star in the musical world, playing Kaori. The director is Hatsuki Yokoo, known for "Yurari" and "Kohaku."
