This is a pair of work clothes (samue) for men and women. Although there is no quality label, it is believed to be a vaniran fabric based on the manufacturer's (REPOS) homepage. It has a smooth, slightly rough texture, like a linen blend. *Vaniran fabric is a dobby weave that resembles "tapa," traditionally used in Micronesia and Hawaii. It is characterized by its uneven surface, which reduces the area of contact with the skin, providing a cool and comfortable feel. It is often woven from cotton, but there are also blended versions. These were sold at Gyoza no Manshu Tomeikan, and have a print of Manshu's mascot, Ran-chan, on the back. Photos 9-12 are from the manufacturer's homepage (the actual pants do not have elastic at the hem). I received these as a souvenir, but I have no use for them, so I am selling them.
