I bought this rod new and used it about three times to fish for Northern Snakehead. The tip broke when it hit a branch during casting, so I kept it as a spare. I attached the tip of another fishing rod inside the broken tip and tested it by wrapping PE line around it. When I tried it out, I was able to catch 3-4kg fish without any problems. Someone with better skills could probably attach the tip more neatly. The remaining tip is like new, with no scratches. Type... Bait rod Fishing type...
