Types of Japanese clothing: Kimono, Juban (undershirt) This was custom-made at Iwataya about 40 years ago. It was worn twice, when the child was 5 and 7 years old. It's old, but made of silk, so it has a luxurious feel and is comfortable to wear. The waist is raised (for a child). There are no major stains that are immediately noticeable, but there are some stains here and there if you look closely. *The Juban has some noticeable stains as shown in the photos, so consider it as a bonus.
