This is a Showa retro pressed glass deep dish. It can be used as a fruit bowl or salad bowl. Beautiful patterns emerge, and the shell-like? petal-like? shape of the rim is also wonderful. This is an old item. There are glass wrinkles on the bottom of the dish and indentations that can be felt to the touch (these are manufacturing imperfections). There is a chip? on part of the base.
