It is an aquatint transfer print. "Rest on the Flight into Egypt" is a scene from the Bible. It has a beautiful luster and gold decoration, making it a very lovely plate. The condition is almost excellent, but there is a slight, shallow scratch-like mark of about 1 cm on the back that can be felt by hand, but is barely visible. The metal fittings also show their age, but are securely attached. There is no outer box, so it will be carefully packed and shipped. For those who love Meissen, how about it?
