This is a refashioned kimono. It's a komon made of silk, dyed with a butterfly pattern (bingata style?) on a navy blue background, now remade into a dress (or tunic). The bodice and armholes are roomy, and the skirt is a three-tiered, tiered style. No pockets. The kimono was stored in a chest after being dry-cleaned, so I didn't find any particular damage.
