This item is made from a disassembled and washed vintage silk kimono. The seams where the elastic and string are joined are hidden. It comes with a covered button for storage. When using a heko obi or a hanhaba obi for various tie styles, you won't have to worry about the string showing through the gaps in the obi. Finished with a sewing machine.
