This grease, with 300% more stickiness than Shirokuma, creates the crucial "give" during hooking, and once a fish is hooked, it minimizes drag slippage, constantly applying tension to the hook and reducing the risk of the fish getting off. Furthermore, it allows for stable drag release against sudden runs by the fish. This is the drag grease that experts will want to use, a favorite among enthusiasts. The following is just my personal opinion, but it feels firm and very sticky, more so than Shirokuma. It provides smooth resistance and releases line against pulls stronger than the drag setting. However, instead of immediately releasing the drag against sudden pulls, it creates a brief "give," allowing the rod to do its job, making hooking and fish control easier. Dekakuma enhances this "give" and the resistance when releasing line compared to Shirokuma. You might think the amount is small, but you don't need to apply a lot, so you can maintain even multi-plate drag reels with one bottle.
