This is a flower vase made from Taiwanese chrysanthemum wood, a very rare type of wood. There are areas where the surface varnish appears to be lifting. There are also some scratches, but please consider this as an antique item. This vase has a substantial presence and a very atmospheric feel. 〈Chrysanthemum Wood〉 Named for the chrysanthemum-like pattern on the cross-section of its stem.
