NOBLE & COOLEY Maple 14"×7" Purchased new approximately 10 years ago and used several times in rehearsals, then stored in a non-smoking room. Overall, it's in good condition, but the brass parts have some tarnish. I'm not sure if the shell is painted or covered. There are many vertical cracks throughout the finish (or covering if it's a wrap). You can feel the unevenness when you touch the shell. This is not due to dropping or intentionally scratching it; it happened naturally. There are no cracks or splits in the shell itself. This does not affect the sound.
