The leaves and arabesques are raised with emerald glaze and outlined with gold, and the background has a bubble pattern mold to emphasize the three-dimensionality and shadows. Gold gilding also adorns the handles and the rim, and the elegant contours created by the curves enhance the loveliness of the cherry blossoms. There is a small chip on the edge of the base and some fading of the gold gilding due to age, but it retains the unique texture of a vintage piece. This is a masterpiece that captures the scene of spring in full bloom with its lustrous cherry blossoms and heavy gold gilding.
