In 2021, I personally imported a now very rare Made in USA 2400 (40L) Windrider in black. I used it as my main pack for mountain trips for about two years after purchase, but then started using other brands, and it's been stored on my mountain gear rack for about three years. I kept it, thinking I'd use it someday, but it doesn't fit my current mountain style, so I've decided to sell it. I think I used it for about 10 overnight backpacking trips. Mostly in the Alps and Yatsugatake. It's a very tough pack, so I've used it well, but it's still in great condition and seems like it could be used a lot more. It's for those who want to use it heavily, for core mountaineering and long-distance hiking. I've taken as many photos as possible of the condition. As mentioned, I've used it well, but there are no major damages to note. There are no holes or damage to the mesh or pockets. There is some dirt, wear, and tear from use, but I think this is the typical condition for this number of trips and the type of mountain activities. It would probably be cleaner if washed (especially the bottom). The inside is very clean. I've attached two Hyper-made belts (top and bottom) to the entire mesh surface, making it convenient for attaching gear like snowshoes or skateboards. In the current saturated market of backpacks, with new models being released one after another, this simple and classic Windrider is a tough model that appeals to the UL mindset, so you should be able to enjoy hiking and mountaineering more simply. Please consider this item only if you understand the condition of used outdoor gear as described above and shown in the photos. Color: Black Size: M
