Thank you for viewing. Item No. 781 1️⃣ This is an "Old Imari Sometsuke Yoraku Pattern Soba Choko" from the mid-Edo period. There are no cracks. There is one tiny chip or glaze flake (it's hard to tell which, even when looking closely) of about 1mm on the rim. 2️⃣ The Yoraku pattern is a lucky motif originally inspired by the strings of jewels and precious metals worn by ancient Indian nobles. It is thought to represent nobility and good fortune. 3️⃣ This is a very popular pattern, but it's rare to find. I remember finding one at an antique shop and buying it immediately. 4️⃣ The pattern is only drawn around the rim, and the rest is mostly white. It has a clean and modern design. 5️⃣ The inside bottom features a "five-petal flower" design. It is carefully drawn. The outside of the vessel has a flowing glaze with unevenness.
