This is a rare item. It has a signature of Takayoshi Yasuda, jockey, on the upper right. It has a signature of Minoru Owada, jockey, on the lower right. I'm having trouble identifying the signature on the lower left. It seems that at the time, there were cases where the horse's name was written using kanji, or other phrases were added. I'm not sure if it's a horse, a person, or a phrase. (If you happen to know, I would be grateful if you could tell me.) The upper left has the individual name of the family who received it, but it's a first name and difficult to decipher, so I've included the image as is. I only know that it's a commemorative horseshoe from the early Showa 40s (around the late 1960s). At this time, both Mr. Minoru Owada and Mr. Takayoshi Yasuda were still active jockeys, so I suspect it might be a horseshoe from a horse that both were involved with. The material is wood with a faux leather-like vinyl material stretched over it, and a horseshoe is attached. The signatures are also quite faded. It's about 60 years old, so the adhesive on the base has hydrolyzed, and the vinyl material is starting to peel off from the edges. I would like to offer it to someone who understands this after viewing the images. (I will clean it as much as possible before shipping, but I will refrain from any repairs that would damage its antique nature.)
