A cylindrical tea bowl by Eiraku Zen-Goro. It has the mark of Kawabata Shiryu, and I believe it's from around the Meiji era. As you can see in the images, there are several careful repairs, suggesting it was cherished by tea masters for a long time. It also has a good "hon" (appearance), and is a fine piece. There is a chip on the base, and other age-related scratches and stains as it is an old item. There is a thin "nyu" (crack) in the interior due to aging, but it does not affect its use.
