These are wide, relaxed pants made with a patchwork of shosei-gasuri (student kasuri), yukinko-gasuri (snow child kasuri), katazome (stencil-dyeing), hanten (padded coats), and nobori-bata (banners). The hems are gathered with darts. The left side pocket features a patchwork of katazome with sashiko stitching. The patchwork and sashiko are very cute. The rise is deep, and the hips have a generous fit. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. Since they are indigo-dyed, color fading and color transfer may occur. Hand washing separately or dry cleaning is recommended. These are remade pants from vintage fabric, so there may be fading, creases, and needle holes.
