AMUSE B♭ tuba, 5-rotor, a model no longer in production. I purchased this as a demo model six years ago and used it for solo performances, etc. I am selling it because I have stopped playing due to back pain. Specifications: 5 rotors (5th rotor lowers the pitch by 4/3 tone; the optional 7/3 tone slide is not included) Yellow brass Silver-plated & gold finish Bell diameter: 480mm (approximate) Bore size: 21.30mm (approximate) Main tuning slide: Reverse Semi-hard case (nylon covered hard case. With casters, the synthetic leather on the handle is peeling) Made in China Condition: Valves: Generally good. They are slightly heavier compared to those of famous brands. The 1st valve occasionally got stuck and didn't return. Adjustment may be necessary if this is a concern. Slides: Good. No sticking. Plating: The gold plating on the slides is slightly faded, and there are some small spots on the silver plating, but almost all of it remains. There is a stain of about 3cm on the 2nd slide (the slide next to the bell). Dents: There is a rice grain-sized dent on the audience side of the bell. There may be other small ones. Scratches: There are scratches from use. In preparation for sale, I oiled the rotors, polished it with silver polish, and removed water from the slides with a swab.
