The Rinka series is very popular among Harumi Kurihara's tableware lineup ^_^. The beautiful shape of the Rinka bowl, also known as Kikugawari (chrysanthemum pattern). From the small, undulating flower-like edges, each of the undulations that extend into the center of the bowl becomes a petal, creating a refreshing, flower-like scene on the dining table. They can be stacked together for compact storage, and the nested appearance is also neat and clean. Sizes: [Large Bowl] Approximately 17.7 x 14.8 cm in diameter, approximately 5.4 cm in height. [Medium Bowl] Approximately 14.7 x 12 cm in diameter, approximately 4.5 cm in height. [Small Bowl] Approximately 11.4 x 9.3 cm in diameter, approximately 3.7 cm in height. Microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. Not for direct fire or IH. Soft, oval shape. A lovely white bowl that harmonizes well with other tableware. It has a moderate depth, so it can be used as a serving bowl for various dishes. It goes well with both Japanese and Western cuisine, and can be used widely. Since it can be used in both the microwave and oven, it's also great for oven dishes like gratin and baked pudding(^^). I received these quite a while ago and have kept them stored away.
