This is a twisted snood made from repurposed kimono fabric. The kimono was unpicked, washed, and then remade. Using a kimono with a similar color scheme and the lining fabric (hakke) gives it an elegant impression. The plain blue fabric is dyed from the lining fabric (doura), and I think the uneven dyeing gives it a nice flavor. The silk material feels good against the skin, and it's useful as an accent for your neck just by putting it on when you're concerned about your neck. It's light and warm, and if you fold it up and put it in your bag, it can also be used to protect against air conditioning in the summer, so you can use it all year round.
