The Golden Triangle is a mountainous area in Southeast Asia where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet at the Mekong River, specifically in the eastern Shan State of Myanmar. It is the world's largest drug-producing area, and this is a set-up of workwear from the mountain ethnic groups there. This item is not generally available and was acquired as deadstock about 10 years ago from a collector of the ethnic groups on the Laos side of the Golden Triangle.
