I made a simple A4-size shoulder bag from repurposed Oshima Tsumugi kimono and obi. The lining of the bag uses a thin, patterned red-brown obi fabric. This bag is new and unused since being remade. The handles also have interfacing. This is a lightweight bag. The black base with the red-brown pattern creates a very calm and sophisticated color scheme. This bag is eye-catching. I make each item carefully, but as it is handmade, there may be imperfections in the sewing.
