[Instrument Introduction] This violin is a Wilhelm Hermann Hammig, from a highly-regarded German workshop founded in 1838. While replicas made in Markneukirchen, Germany around 1950 under the name Wilhelm Hammig SAMAPO are common, this violin is over 100 years old. It has a beautiful appearance and a rich, deep tone. It is likely in the over 1 million yen class. It is an old-style violin with a high arch. The bridge is a new, adjusted one. The bow is French-made and does not have a maker's mark. Rosin and a KUN shoulder rest are included. The case is also in relatively good condition. Type: Violin
