Rare, 1970s vintage Levi's, Levi's 517-0217 bootcut flares, made in 1977, 66 late model, black kanji, single-stitched inseam, 42 TALON zipper, chain stitch on pocket lining, Button back stamp 8 W36L34, actual size waist 43.5, inseam 76 Good size. Made in USA. Rare large size. Purchased at a vintage shop. Since it's a 66 model 517, the fading of the fabric is different. It's almost the same as the early model. It has vertical fading, like Big E. There are repairs and damage in places, but it has an American feel and atmosphere. No paper patch or tab. There is damage and a tear above the right knee repair. The left belt loop has been replaced. Please check the images. This model is expected to continue to increase in price, so I think it's a good one to have.
