It seems that Mr. Katsura Mizuho is from Mr. Kawano's workshop, but I couldn't find any detailed information about his background. I've only seen Mr. Mizuho's rosewood guitars twice, and it's clear that he is a prolific guitar maker whose works rarely appear in the market. The top material appears to be a tight-grained solid cedar, the back is straight-grained jacaranda, the sides are beautiful jacaranda with bold patterns, the neck is hard mahogany, the fingerboard is jet-black ebony, and the bridge seems to be straight-grained rosewood. Additionally, there are side braces, and the heel joint is German-style. The pegs have been replaced with high-quality Gotoh ones. The synergistic effect of cedar and jacaranda creates a sound that resonates well and projects beautifully. Although it looks like an all-solid wood guitar due to the side braces, the grain patterns on the inside and outside of the sides and back don't seem to match, so I believe it's a laminated plywood. 55 years have passed since its production, and there are cracks and peeling in the shellac finish on the top and back, which the previous owner repaired themselves. Apart from the paint repairs, it is in good condition. Also, it has strings for trial playing, so you can try it out immediately.
