Thank you for viewing. This is an antique embroidered obi (sash). The fabric is a cream color with a strong yellow tint, and it features embroidered lilies and camellias. It's a gorgeous and lavish embroidered obi, overflowing with Taisho Roman (romantic) charm. Camellias are autumn flowers, but lilies are also auspicious motifs, so the pattern can be used year-round. I also think the easy-to-use color is an advantage. The thick Japanese embroidery, with its abundant silver thread, is a testament to the high level of skill rarely seen today, making it a wonderful antique piece. Regarding the condition, there are stains, discoloration, and small holes on the tare (the hanging part) and the mae-gara (the front pattern). The mae-gara can be hidden depending on how it's tied, but the tare has some damage in areas that can't be hidden, so please check the images carefully. The damage is shown in the last few images. The fabric is strong, and if you are accustomed to antiques, I think you can still wear it. I loved it very much, but I've stopped wearing such flamboyant items, so I'm putting it up for sale.
