We have a direct contract with a Moroccan atelier to custom-make these for our Japanese customers, so the quality is far superior to those purchased at souvenir shops. However, as they are handmade, there may be (stains, scratches, fraying, color fading, wrinkles, dents, loose sequins). Babouches use genuine leather (sheepskin) and are tanned using traditional methods. This babouche is made to minimize odor and is part of the odorless series, but perceptions vary, so those who are sensitive to smells should refrain from purchasing.
