Five Satsuma Kiriko Glasses Unearthed from my parents' home Deep indigo, or perhaps lapis lazuli blue. These are exquisite pieces with distinctive cuts and a slightly thick feel. These were family possessions, collected over time from an acquaintance who was from Kagoshima. They were displayed in a cabinet for viewing. There are slight variations between the individual glasses, and the sizes also differ slightly. As they are old, the details of their history are unknown, but what appear to be scratches are likely from the manufacturing process. The glass in the last photo has a small chip on the rim.
