Maxon SD9 Sonic Distortion MOD for sale. After collecting and comparing parts and sounds from vintage to current models, I've arrived at this modification, which took two and a half years to develop. The concept is to combine the best aspects of vintage models (good sound but lacking power) and current models (powerful but thin sound). Based on a current model, I haven't touched the circuit, aiming for powerful sound with more depth, dimension, and thickness than vintage models. (2) Op-amp sockets are not used as they degrade the low frequencies. (3) The gauge of the wiring should not be changed. (4) 22 types of vintage solder were tested, and the best was selected. ----------------------------------------------- This ver.4 Hybrid uses GARDINER solder from the 1940s-1950s as the base, with ver.10 WENSLEY METAL solder from the 1940s-1950s used only for the jacks and switch. Compared to ver.8-10, ver.1-6 has a slightly less hi-fi feel, but using ver.10 for the jacks and switch compensates for this. The alloy ratio is sn40 / pb60. GARDINER provides a hi-fi sound with a biting, raw feel, and is versatile, making it suitable for guitar. It goes without saying that every nuance of your left-hand touch and picking comes through in the sound. If you're unsure, this might be the one.
