This thick hat with adorable red pom-poms on both sides covers the ears well. The outside of the hat is knit and the inside is fleece, making it very warm. I bought this for my child to use for skiing when they were in kindergarten, and it was only used 3-4 times, so there are no noticeable stains, tears, or frays.
