The color is black. The shoulders and pockets have a fluffy material with small, subtle sequins scattered throughout, which shimmer slightly depending on the angle and movement. It's not gaudy, but very beautiful and elegant. I've only worn it once, so I think it's in beautiful condition. You can also wear it open like a cardigan by unbuttoning all the front buttons.
