It's suitable for toddlers up to 22 kg. The belts are secure, and I think it's very safe. It was a great memory for my child's early years. I was able to capture photos of their mountain climbing experience before they could even remember it. Now that they can climb on their own, I'm selling it. It comes with a roof to cover the head in rainy weather, as well as a rain cover for the entire carrier. I have home-cleaned it before listing. There are some scratches due to using the stand.
