It was also useful for preventing scratching of the face, and for scratches during the newborn period. I initially used mittens, but they would come off, or the wrists would get cold, so mittens weren't very effective. (I used mittens to prevent scratching when awake) This is a set of 3. Only the navy one on the bottom right has stains and yellowing. The other two are almost unused, so I think they are in good condition.
